Directions

Burn Cottage Retreat is located three minutes drive north west of Cromwell township, near the southern end of Lake Dunstan, Central Otago.

Approaching from Cromwell:

From the "Big Fruit" Sculpture, proceed west on State Highway 8B. At the "T" insersection, turn right towards Wanaka on State Cromwell Fruit Sculpture Highway 6 (Wanaka to Queenstown highway).

Burn Cottage Road is the second road on your left. We are 1.7km along the road and it is tarsealed all the way to our gate.

Post people at Burn Cottage Retreat entrance We are number 168 Burn Cottage Road and the name Norman is on our red coloursteel and timber letterbox. Our gateway is on the right hand side of the road - look for the "Burn Cottage Retreat" sign and the post people standing guard at the front gate! (See photos left and below). And please don't be fooled by a small brown "Burn Cottage" sign at our neighbour's property.

After passing over the Lowburn bridge (at Lowburn inlet), you will see the lake on your left. Directly after passing Aurum Wines (also on your left), take the next turn right onto Burn Cottage Road. We are 1.7km along the road.
