This cottage is decorated in calm, soothing shades which compliment the outdoors.

Moonlight is a very private, restful cottage, surrounded by fruit trees and lavender, with views over tussock rock gardens and lawns towards tranquil rural scenes with a backdrop of the Pisa mountain range and big blue skies in summer. A gentle creek meanders past the cottage.

This cottage is equally as nice as Rascal Cottage and is very popular with guests seeking a romantic getaway in a truly special location. A favourite with our honeymooners.

Even the local birdlife love this cottage! In spring, quail can be seen searching the nearby gardens for a suitable nesting site and in summer baby ducks learn to swim in the creek. When the fruit trees ripen, these same ducks become a little bolder and sneak quietly past the cottage to feast under the fruit trees (plums, nectarines, cherries) then sit contentedly nearby enjoying an afternoon siesta (too full to move!) or cool off in the creek.

This is the best place we have stayed in NZ; iPod dock: please let the rest of NZ know of these wonderful devices! Wish I could have picked it up and moved it closer to home! Congratulations, superb!
